CM-2 Rebar Continuity TesterRebar continuity is a vital prerequisite when using cathodic protection in concrete. Still, the techniques used to verify electrical continuity between reinforcement bars often rely on indirect measurements, and provide no 100% verification of continuity.

Do you want to know that your rebars are in electrical continuity? The CM-2 Rebar Continuity tester from Protector verifies electrical between rebars by passing a high current (approx 1A) through the connections being tested. When the current is interrupted, the CM-2 will display both the resistance (or "No connection") as well as any remaining voltage between the connections. This makes your continuity testing 100% reliable - as opposed to simple potential or resistance measurements with multimeter.

The CM-2 is protected in a robust case and comes with a battery charger and a probe that makes it easy to punch through the rustlayer and reach pure steel.
