Cathodic Protection (CP) of steel reinforced concrete has become the leading corrosion protection system worldwide.The method is well documented, and is in use on thousands of structures in many countries. CP works by sending a continuous low-level electrical current through the concrete to the reinforcement bars. Using CP technology, Protector have developed several market-leading systems. These are currently providing effective protection in over 100 sites in Norway alone, together with many more sites across other European countries.
